When I heard the news, my first thought was, "Wow! Who'd the President of Poland piss off?"

I thought is suspicious Putin, the head of the FSB when it was discovered to be bombing civilian apartment buildings in Russia in 1999, said he would jump in to take over the investigation.

He could have promised an open investigation instead if he really wanted to help.
