I am definitely of the underemployed statistical category, but under the circumstances I couldn't be happier.

What? I would say its quite good news that the well has been capped, new episodes of Whale Wars and the Fleet of Impotence is back on TV, peak oil happened a few years back and nobody noticed, and as soon as the economy double dips lots of people can get back into the market and make a few bucks.

Training times are weird...3:00 pm to 11:45pm.  Better than the alternative though.

Afternoon shifts are a life stealer, I'd rather work graveyard.

I skirted the razor's edge--according to the trainer in the group I was in--and managed to keep the job.  The subject matter was not all that difficult to take in but the pace was way accelerated from what they described in the preliminary interviews.  I am a very anxiety prone guy and nerves nearly cost me the job.
And all those damn twenty-somethings in the group took to the subject matter like they'd been pushed out of the nest knowing it.  Whew!

Good to hear you are still kicking!

I hired my first person in 12 years today. Let the recovery continue!
